The Big Island of Hawaii took the brunt of Hurricane LaLa’s rainfall on Saturday leading to significant river flooding and surf. Multiple roadways got blocked by flood water, downed trees, and landslides. Along the Wauluku River near Hilo, extreme flood turned what is usually a calm Rainbow Falls, into a raging waterfall.
