Lancaster County, South Carolina authorities announced last month they arrested six illegal migrants involved in the murder of a local woman. The sheriff’s office said during a press conference officers responded to reports of a stopped vehicle in the middle of the road to discover Larisha Thompson, 40, dead from a gunshot wound. Investigators uncovered evidence from the scene linking that shooting to the same firearm used in a recent burglary incident.
