Investigators searching the home of a woman accused of shooting her four children found evidence of criminal identity theft, according to a search warrant affidavit obtained by KHOU 11 Investigates. Oninda Romelus is charged with two counts of murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The Brazoria County Sheriff’s Department said she called 911 early Saturday morning from a gas station in the Angleton area. When deputies got there, they found her four children, ages 3 to 13, inside her vehicle with gunshot wounds. Brazoria County investigators initially believed Romelus may have had a fifth child, and they requested assistance from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s office to search her home in the 21500 block of Spear Valley Lane in Porter.
