MESA, Ariz., Apr. 29 (KNN) — Just after 2:00 a.m. Monday, the Mesa Fire Department was dispatched to reports of a commercial structure fire in the 7400 block of East Hampton Avenue. When firefighters arrived, they located a Cybertruck on fire, parked against the wall of a Tesla dealership. The fire partially extended from the Cybertruck to the exterior wall of the building. Firefighters knocked down the flames within 30 minutes of arriving at the scene. According to a Mesa police lieutenant at the scene, the fire is being investigated as arson. The word “thief” was misspelled in graffiti on the wall of the dealership. Members of the FBI responded to the scene to take the lead in the investigation.
